Clio Dritsa

Clio (she/her) is a second-year doctoral student funded by the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences at the University of Glasgow. She has a background in food science, nutrition and neuroscience. Her interests lie in the metabolic interactions of the gut microbiota-host organism, particularly in the context of neurological diseases. Her current research focuses on microbial compounds derived from the gut as mediators of gut-microbiota-brain axis pathways and how these modulate brain function in health and disease.
